Transforming Hotels into High-Performing Assets
We bring genuine hospitality and disciplined asset management together. From supporting your hotel team to planning its next chapter, we connect the daily details with the long-term value of your investment.
We operate hotels with an ownership mentality because we own hotels too.
Hospitality Starts with How We Treat People
Eric and Rita Bahme believe hospitality is a calling. They served as pastors before they ever owned a hotel, and today they live it at Coyote Bluff Estate, their home in Somers, Montana, which welcomes guests from around the world as a full-service retreat.
That spirit shapes how we work at MBE: treat people with dignity, take care of the details, and be honest about what we see. It guides how we serve owners, how we support hotel teams and how guests are welcomed.

Accessible leadership
Owners and general managers work directly with MBE’s leadership team. We make time to listen and to talk decisions through together.
Support for hotel teams
The people at the front desk, in housekeeping and in the kitchen carry the guest experience. We back them with training, clear systems and leaders who help solve problems alongside them.
Care in the details
Guests notice a clean room and a warm welcome. Owners notice clear, accurate reports. We pay attention to both and keep working to get the small things right.
Honest stewardship
We treat every hotel as something entrusted to us. That means clear reporting, straight answers when the news isn’t good, and decisions made with the owner’s long-term interests in mind.
Coyote Bluff Estate · Somers, Montana…and Ends with Paying Attention to the Details
Hospitality starts with how we treat people and ends with paying attention to the details. Guests often can’t put their finger on why a hotel feels different. Usually it’s the details: the corner that gets dusted, the flower bed that gets weeded, the room that gets one more look before it’s released. Most of what guests and owners notice happens in the last 25 percent of the work, and that’s where we put our attention.
- Clean beyond the obviousCleanliness standards that reach the corners, vents and baseboards, not just what’s in plain sight.
- Curb appeal that’s cared forGrounds, entrances and flower beds that tell guests someone is paying attention before they reach the front desk.
- Finishing touchesAt Coyote Bluff Estate, that means fresh-cut flowers in the rooms and a scotch and whiskey bar set with decanters. Every property has its own version.
- The details owners don’t seeThe right insurance, solid internal controls and clean books. Getting these right protects the owner, the team and the guests.
We own hotels too, so we don’t stop at good enough. Owners often bring us in when a hotel isn’t living up to its potential, and finishing the details is where we start.

From Daily Details to Long-Term Value
A hotel is a home for guests, a workplace for its team and an investment for its owner. Depending on the engagement, we help with all three.
Operate well
Lead the team, care for guests, protect brand standards, drive sales and revenue, and keep the books clear and current.
Invest thoughtfully
Plan capital, renovations and PIPs with a clear view of how each dollar affects the guest experience and the value of the property.
Plan ahead
Evaluate acquisitions, development and repositioning, and think through when to refinance, reposition or sell.
Every engagement is different. Some owners hire us to run a hotel day to day; others bring us in for a capital plan, a renovation or an acquisition. When we also operate your hotel, our asset planning works alongside operations rather than as independent third-party oversight.
Your Hotel. Your Numbers. Anytime.
We’re building an owner portal so you can see how your hotel is doing whenever you want, not just when the monthly package arrives. It’s designed around the reports owners already rely on, with the context your management team adds.
- Daily results after night auditOccupancy, rate and revenue for yesterday, month to date and year to date.
- Financials you can trustMonthly statements locked after close, so the numbers don’t change after the fact.
- Budget vs. actual at a glanceClear favorable and unfavorable flags on every key line.
- A morning briefingWhat happened, how the month is tracking and what your management team is focused on.
- Revenue, marketing & capital updatesPace, channel mix, reviews and project status in one place.
- Ask MBEA planned assistant that answers questions about your hotel’s numbers, with read-only access to your property only.
The portal is in development and is not yet connected to live hotel systems. The demo uses a fictional hotel and sample data.
